2000
“Appley Ever After” was the theme this year. Queen Terri Weagant, Princesses Morgan Fraser, and Rosalba Montes presided over festivities. Escorts were Blake Pratt, Kyle Jaynes, and Jack Chambers. In the Junior Court Austin Cochran, Donnie Webb, Alex Fajardo, Bailey Stevens, Allie Phelps, Liliana Morales, Valerie Carollo, and Amber Corya. The Grand Marshal for this year’s parade was Buddy and Martha McClellan. The festival began Thursday with the carnival. Friday was the Edible Apple Contest and sale, an Art Show, Nostalgia Night, and the Carnival. Saturday began with the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast, Street Fair and Concessions, Fun Run, Quilt Show, Grand Parade, Chicken Noodle Dinner, Jazz Concert, Art Show, Rock and Gem Show, Queens Ball, and the Carnival.
2001
“An Apple Odyssey” was the theme this year. Queen Janae England, Princesses Desiree’ Baker and Princess Vanessa presided over festivities. Escorts were Brandon McPherson, Michael Steele, and Kyle Walter. This year’s attendants and trumpeters were Francisco Orozco, Jesse Russell, Jaquelin Guillen, Lia Verduzco, Bianca Sanchez Marta Vegdahl-Crowell, Kyle Hyde and Travis Pittman. The Grand Marshal for this year’s parade was Manson Superindent Dan Farrell. The festival began Thursday with the carnival. Friday there was the start of the annual art show, a performance by the Mariachi Huenachi and nostalgia night. Saturday activities started with the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast, followed by the Manson Apple Blossom parade that was broadcasted live by KOZI Radio, other Saturday activities included the Edible Apple Contest, the Manson Fun run, after the parade entertainment, a Quilt Show, a Gem and Mineral show, the annual Chicken Noodle Dinner. The day’s activities ended with the Pageant and the Queen’s Ball. On Sunday there was an Alumni Softball Game at Singleton Park.
2002
This year’s festival theme was “Day Dreams”. The Royalty for this year’s festival was Queen Valerie Flores, Princesses Brooke Simmons, and Julie Moore. Their escorts were Darrick Steele, Nathan Cross, and Brandon Peters. Members of the 2002 Royal Court were Letica Medez, Robin Campbell, Lindsea England, Claudia Quintero, Yessica Hurtado and Rachel Sumner whom all rode on the Manson Grange Float. The Ladies in Waiting were Paz Valdovinos, Sonia Pearson, Crystal Roger, Joelyn England, Juanita LaCourse, Shelby Simmons, Christine Ewing, and Anna Koenig. The 2002 Attendants and Trumpeteers were Gregorio Montes, Drew Carleton, Alvaro Mendivil, Konnar Stevens Tess Young, Marisol Valencia, Abby Phelps, Jeffifer Farias, and Mackenzie McBride. The Grand Marshal was Alice Killian The festival began with the carnival at Leffler Field, and the Edible Apple Contest at the Manson United Methodist Church that night. The carnival fun continued on Friday as well as the Edible Apple Contest, the Art show and Nostalgia Night. There was a special art show featuring the work of Alice Bumgardner. Saturday activities started with the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast, followed by the Manson Apple Blossom parade that was broadcasted live by KOZI Radio, other Saturday activities included the Manson Fun run, after the parade entertainment, a Quilt Show, a Gem and Mineral show, the annual Chicken Noodle Dinner. The day’s activities ended with the Pageant and a teen dance.
2003
“Petals and Parasols” was the theme for this year’s festival. Queen Shelby Simmons and Princesses Nellie Gonzales, and Arasely Morfin presided over this year’s festival. Their escorts were Steven Rodriguez, Noe Patino, and Jose Alejo. This year’s parade Grand Marshals were Ben and Elaine Smalley. Attendants were Jocelyn Escobar, Aylee Neff, Jana Russell, and Kendra Ellsworth and Trumpeteers were Agnel Grafeda, Sam Thomas, Oscar Mendoza, and Michael Pittman. Each year girls in the junior class are invited to “attend” the Queen by forming and archway for the procession into the pageant. This year the girls were Sarah Cross, Mallory Hill, Nuria Sanchez, Blanca Guerra, Blanca Quiroz, Olivia Libbey, and Chelsea Campbell. This year’s festival began on Thursday with the Art Show and Carnival which ran through Saturday afternoon, the Edible Apple Contest and the 2003 pageant that night. Friday there was the Art Show and Nostalgia Night. Saturday activities started with the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast, followed by the Manson Apple Blossom parade that was broadcasted live by KOZI Radio, other Saturday activities included the North Cascades National Bank Pig Jig, after the parade entertainment, a Quilt Show, a Rock and Mineral show, the annual Chicken Noodle Dinner, there was a street fair with concessions and a car show.
2004
This year’s festival theme was “Under the Sea”. Presiding over this year’s festival was Queen Sarah Cross, Princesses Hilda Grageda and Blanca Guerra. Escorting this year’s royalty was Raynor Baker, Todd Nelson, and Constantino Montes. The Grand Marshal was Kathy Miller. Attendants and Trumpeteers were Adorah Guerra, Rachel Hawkins, Abigail Vergara, Ruby Garcia, Tycobey Urness, Chayse Brooks, Derek Griffith, and James Calhoun. The Ladies in Waiting were Olivia Fajardo, Holly Brown Keara Holm-Nielson, Remedios Escalera, Kim Urness, Connie Luna, Alissia Espinoza, and Mari Espinoza. This year’s festival began on Thursday with the Art Show continuing thru Saturday, the Edible Apple Contest and the Royal Pageant that night. Friday festival visitors could check out the street fair and concession stands as well as attend the Nostalgia Night. Saturday morning activities started with the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast, followed by the Manson Apple Blossom parade that was broadcasted live by KOZI Radio, other Saturday activities included the North Cascades National Bank Pig Jig 2K and 5K run, a Quilt Show, a Rock, and Mineral show, the annual Chicken Noodle Dinner. There were a Car and Cycle show after the parade as well as a performance by The Cossacks motorcycle group. There was also a musical performance by The Bobber’s at 1 p.m.
2005
The theme this year was “Grown in Manson” with Queen Remedios Escalera proclaiming on May 12th, 2005 that these festival days be designated as a time to reflect back on all things GROWN IN MANSON and commanded all her royals subjects to join together with visitors and the community in this joyous celebration. She presided over the festival with Princesses Ashely Leffler and Lilia Mendoza. The Royalty escorts were Daniel Valencia, Alex Krupla and Rigo Perez. The Grand Marshall this year was the Terry Urness Family. Attendants and Trumpeteers were Karina Guzman, Maddee Ward, Baylee, Ward, Anna Pittman, Ellie Vegdahl-Crowell, Spencer Ward, Mason Cameron, Zach Phelps, and Andres Grageda. Ladies in Waiting were Leidy Gillen, Eliza Ramirez, Irma Farias, Stephanie Valencia, Brenda Silva, Cristia Batchelor, Chrystal Escobedo, and Claudia Valle. This year's festivities included a Student Art Show as well as a Community Art Show. The Royal Pageant and Edible Apple contests were held on Friday night. Saturday was the annual Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast, the North Cascades National Bank Pig 2K and 5K Jig, the Grand Parade. There was also the Quilt show, Car and Cycle Show and the Chicken Noodle Dinner that visitors could enjoy.
2006
This year’s theme was “Passage to the Orient” with Queen Irma Farias proclaiming on May 13, 2006, that these festival days be designated as a time to celebrate our apples make a passage to the orient and commanded all her royals subjects to join together with visitors and the community in this joyous celebration. She presided over the festival with Princesses Ally Peters and Stephanie Valencia. The Royalty escorts were Victor Abarca, Victor Quiroz, and Rigo Perez. The Grand Marshalls this year was Allen and Judy Steele. Attendants and Trumpeteers were Alyssa Lamar, Sydney Hawkins, Veronica Lulo, Emma Reed, Cody Amsden, Eduardo Escalera, Jose Morfin, and Payton Stevens. Ladies in Waiting were Nichole Schnelle, Rebeca Rios, Monica Hill, Lilly Simmons, Cynthia Sanchez, Jessica Ewing, and Noemi Luque. This year's festivities included a Student Art Show as well as a Community Art Show. The Royal Pageant and Edible Apple contests were held on Friday night. Saturday was the annual Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast, the North Cascades National Bank Pig 2K and 5K Jig, the Grand Parade. This year’s theme was “All Abuzz Around Manson” with Queen Jessica Ewing proclaiming on May 11, 2007, that these festival days should be a celebration of our apples and that it may be “All Abuzz Around Manson” because our festivities and also proclaimed that our community members and visitors to Manson should join in the festivities, that there may be joy and cheerfulness during this time, as we enjoy this new beginning and are brought closer together by our work and participation in our Apple Blossom celebration. She presided over the festival with Princesses Rebeca Rios and Nichole Schnelle. The Royalty escorts were Zach Nelson, Caleb Carbone, and Jeremy Barnett. The Grand Marshalls this year were Richard and Lauretta Parr. Attendants and Trumpeteers were Megan Clausen, Marisol Mendoza, Sadie Batchelor, Nicole Sepulveda, Euan Keck, Erik Alcala, Bailey Cameron, and Cole Beazley. Ladies in Waiting were Erica Montes, Betty Garcia, Laura Manjares, Whitney Pittman, Katie Barnes, Laura Cross, Sierra Ellsworth, and Keisha Neff. This year festivities began on Thursday with the Student Art Show at Allisons of Manson. The Royal Pageant, Nostalgia Night and a Taste of Manson were held on Friday. Saturday was the annual Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast, the North Cascades National Bank Pig 2K and 5K Jig, the Grand Parade. There was also the Quilt show, Community Art Show, the Rock, and Mineral Show, The Manson Idol Contest and the Chicken Noodle Dinner that visitors could enjoy.
2008
This year’s theme was “Golden Glamour” with Queen Sierra Ellsworth proclaiming on May 9, 2008, that these days should be designated as a time to reflect on all that is golden and glamorous about Manson. It was also proclaimed that our community members and visitors to Manson should come together to celebrate and participate. She presided over the festival with Princesses Laura Cross and Keisha Neff. The Royalty escorts were Wade Gross, Reece Kamphaus and Gabriel Castro. The Grand Marshalls this year were the LaMar Family. Attendants and Trumpeteers were Abby Reed, Raeauna Mogan, Estella Vergara, Nadia Verduzco, Blake Cochran, Cole Cochran, Steven Williams, Parker Schoenwald, Briar Soliday and Bryce LaMar Ladies in Waiting were Whitni England, Sylvia Castro, Anna Buck, Yesenia Aaya, Ilse Valle, Rose Averbeck, Virginia Guzman, Kelsey Harding, Erica Mendoza, Verna LaCourse, Marci Nelson and Selene Rocha. This year festivities began on Thursday with the Student Art Show at Allisons of Manson. The Community Art Show, Nostalgia Night and a Taste of Manson were held on Friday. Saturday was the annual Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast, the North Cascades National Bank Pig 2K and 5K Jig, the Grand Parade. There was also the Quilt show, the Rock and Mineral Show, The Manson Idol Contest and the Chicken Noodle Dinner that visitors could enjoy The Royal Pageant and Dance concluded the Saturday night festivities.
2009
This year’s theme was “Deliciously Manson” with Queen Kelsey Harding proclaiming on May 9, 2009, that these days should be a designated as a time to celebrate all of Manson’s glorious features and how deliciously Manson our town actually is and may all of our apples to made into delicious treats ad shared throughout the community. She further commended all of her loyal subjects go join with visitors and community members in our joyous Apple Blossom celebration. She presided over the festival with Princesses Marci Nelson and Whitni England. The Royalty escorts were Graham Thomas, Pedro Magana and Osbaldo Escoto The Grand Marshall this year was Susi Bennett Attendants and Trumpeteers were Maddison Alejo, Joanne Gordon-Fournier, Zoe Thomas, Yholibeth Valle, Bryanna Harris, Xavier Mendoza, Gabriel Montes, Gunner Rasmussen, Caden Beazley, and Micah Petersen. Ladies in Waiting were Kayla Davison, Bronte Toolson, Yesenia Sanchez, Veronica Vanderholm, Marlene Gonzales, Jacque Hernandez, Eva Escoto, Ale Mendivil, Phaedra Castro, Patty Mendoza, Araceli Escoto. This year festivities began on Thursday with the Student Art Show at Allisons of Manson. The Nostalgia Night and a Taste of Manson were held on Friday. Saturday was the annual Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast, the North Cascades National Bank Pig 2K and 5K Jig, the Grand Parade. There was also the Quilt show, Community Art Show, the Rock, and Mineral Show, The Manson Idol Contest and the Chicken Noodle Dinner that visitors could enjoy. On Saturday night prior to the Pageant the “Welcome to Manson” sign was dedicated.
